I just went back to re-read the Time Traveler role. Broad strokes:
So if anything got added from the role, this would be it. I was relatively unsure of how to make the idea work and have fun mechanics that wouldn't ruin the enjoyment of the thread.
- Create anchor points in the thread by satisfying conditions. Anchors can be used as places to revert the thread back to.
- Player has ways to manipulate multiple timelines or create new ones or reset actions.
- Mayuri-like attachment to one player. Selected or mod randomized.
- Possibly might involve needing all players to lynch this target to trigger the "Save Mayuri" timeshift. "or idk."
- Snap mechanics to force the timeline to revert back to where it was, with some changes from the new timeline carrying over, somehow.
- Maybe time traveler goes back with current players, revives others, then after some time the -now- current players are returned to the original timeline.
- "I really can't get this to work."
- "Time traveler is a [expletive] lame name."
