also i'm so mad kiyo turned off text emotes because there have been so many times i have tried to passive aggressively make :) faces at people and then they are LOST TO THE EYES OF THE WORLD unless you quote my posts

Uhh actually the forum doesn't let you do text emotes in general so I've been manually editing emotes into everyone's posts when I see that's what they originally intended.

Okay I implemented a weird hack and you should be able to use text smilies now.
