This is your first practice match against another team. You’re excited, but terrified. Your hands are sweating as your hold the ball, standing with the rest of your team as your opponents take their positions on the other side of the court. You know they play dirty, and you don’t want to be the first one sent to the bench. Only one team can win, and the other side isn’t going down without a fight.
Rules
Mafia wins if they match or outnumber the town
You cannot claim your own jersey number, but you can claim who you passed to during the night
You must wait until the day phase to claim who you passed to
You may not publically plan pass chains to figure out other player’s jersey numbers
Mechanics
Every player will be assigned a jersey number
Each night, the away team (mafia) will serve the ball
The home team (town) will the pass the ball three times in total, with the serve targeted player being pass one
If the third pass is not to a spiker, the final person will be benched
If the third pass is to a spiker, the ball is back on the other side of the court and no player is benched
The spikers will change every night, because this is a training match and everyone gets a turn to practice. The players will not be aware they are spikers
If a player passes the ball, they will be told that they made a pass via pm
If a player does not send in a pass before rollover and the ball is passed to them, they will fumble and be benched
If a player passes to an away team member by mistake, they will be sent to the bench for hitting the net
