Literary UPICK || Chapters 7-16

HE’S BEING LESS useful than usual, wandering around the historical nonfiction section and mumbling something about temples. Probably has some sort of paper due soon. She leaves him to it. In the meantime, she occupies herself with facing the shelves, rehoming displaced volumes and lining them up at the front. Like a military inspection, she marches the aisles until every fleck of dust is cleaned and every spine stands at attention. It’s during this examination that she finds it, curled lying a dying animal in the recesses of the manga section. She excavates it and surveys the damage. Unsalvageable. The pages are shredded, the cover completely detached. “Mice?” she wonders aloud. Nobody answers.

CHAPTER 7 __________ TIKI THE TROLL was jailed. RASEI was stunned. “It wasn’t actually my instincts that made me eat your crush…” AEIOU was killed. She was THE YOUNG MAIDEN IN LOVE IS A CARNIVORE by Hikojibeya. She was TOWN.

That me! I had a stun. Emphasis on had; now that I've reached my win condition, it has vanished into the winds. I am harmless like a fluffy pillow. I can still make someone nap if they particularly need to sleep, but it's all flavor and otherwise completely pointless. However, if anyone particularly needs some extra sleep, I am the pan for the job.
