@Mitsu - That ratio is so scary. I think we have three mislynches left? Maybe two if that's not actually the ratio.

Gut feelings that will have (probably) no actual bearing on who I end up voting for: Deo, Blaire, and Lucas are giving me weird vibes.

@the waterfowl- I'm not sure if I particularly think you're mafia, but your arguments make absolutely no logical sense. At all. This is a vanilla game. What Ninfia did in a previous non-vanilla game (that was actually quite horrifically unbalanced in favor of town) doesn't really have any bearing on this game.

Also I'm not sure what citing that game has anything to do with ezz being the NK target in this game??? Care to clarify? No? Okay.

Okay? What's your point here? Kiyo isn't playing this game. Kiyo was clearly pulling the mafia's strings during that game, as she usually does when she's mafia. Neither Tiki nor Lucas are really Mafia Leader Types (sorry guys you know I still love you. sort of), and the fact that Lucas has straight up been MIA due to offline things makes it even more likely that if he's mafia, he's not calling the shots. So this line of reasoning is honestly irrelevant to this game.

If you sit down and go "WELL LET'S LOOK AT EVERYONE WHO HAS BEEN MAFIA ANY TIME THIS PERSON WAS KILLED EVER!!" you're going to be sitting around for a long time. There's very few cases with certain people where, if one of them dies on N0, you then look at a particular suspect (Ex: Ninfia when I died in Democratic maf or... Ninfia again when Mitsu died in snowball bash.).

There's only so much mafia can do if a member of their group is AFK. I've been on plenty of teams where one person is just not around and there's really nothing you can do about it. It doesn't make her more likely to be maf, I think, but I do think she's acting VERY differently from the last game she played in. I could chalk this up to her being slightly intimidated since the first round of this game relied on knowing people well enough to make nicknames for all of them, and also understand other people's nicknames. As literally everyone else on the forum knows everyone else, I can see why that'd be a little daunting for a new player.

Also forcing someone to be more active when they normally wouldn't be looks really scummy. See: Volleyball maf when it was so obvious Tiki was mafia because his posts looked like someone was telling him to post rather than lurk.

Don't get hung up on trying to read Tiki. Just don't. No one can. That's how Tiki operates. Everyone has an equal chance of being Mafia in every game. Tiki's not any more likely or unlikely to be mafia this time just because he was mafia in other games you played.

Ninfia always makes big posts. Always. She's slightly less aggressive early on in the game, but she still makes long posts. This is standard behavior for her. I'm not sure why you think she made a "mistake", your post didn't answer any of the questions she was asking you.

Uhhhh what do you mean by! original spec!! I mean at least I don't think I've done much of the "oh yeah this person said this it makes sense" I do tend to do in other games but!!!

Honestly this is fun game I'm kind of very... not inclined to think much about the game in a serious manner! So because of that I guess maybe I'm a little suspish of people that seem to be taking it more seriously!! But also vise versa; and I think people clearly not putting anything forth and just kind of floating under the radar should be carefully looked at as well!!! But that's just me and again, the kind of people this would make me not want atm to vote for would be: Ninfia, "Avian", angel, drandahl, etc!!!! probably more but i don't really want to look back cause I have a basketball game to bite my nails at for a few hours in a few minutes!!!!!

In Lit Maf I was trying to play like a loopy hoo-hoo driver and tried to make my posts reflect that. In this game, I was TRYING to go for something different before all these crazy text things, but I'll still be trying to match some flavor text!

Alright then, now for more general things. If I'm missing anything that anyone else has addressing me, please let me know! I'll try my best to catch it and answer it eventually! One thing I'm finding really unfortunate in this game is that day phases are happening on days where I'm personally the most busy. But even in night phases so far, I'll admit that I haven't been here as much as I should have. Which leaves me really hurting for spec posts, especially since I contribute like maybe 1.5% of spec when NOT in a vanilla game. And the only other vanilla game I was in, I was killed in the first Night phase, so I'm afraid I still don't have much experience in this department either.

I'm nearing the point where I need to start moving my attention away from this game and onto other things for now, and I'm just...finding it really difficult to connect old names with usernames (I'm sorry I've been out of the game for a while!) This leaves me drawn to names/icons I recognize, and wanting to pick voting targets out of that pool, and this is a position I find very uncomfortable and completely unfair. But similarly, there's no one I would really not vote for either, if that makes sense? I'm just really...not getting any kind of vibes from anyone at this point. I do recognize that Miss Bagels busted a few of ӘntӘlӘchy's points, but I'm not sure what to make of that just yet.

I'm sorry friends, but I have a sandwich to go pick up now. :'( Can I vote for myself, just for the sake of voting someone? I hope so, geez. So long and thanks for all the fish, Mayor.

Hello I am here now and will make a post soon! I... am slightly confused as to how it is 2 hours to rollover and despite there being 13 players in this game only four of them have voted so far!!

For what it's worth I will also not be around for the hour before rollover so I'll decide on a vote in the next hour or so, since, uh, Aeiou (and for that matter, Jeanne, who was voted on by Five) hasn't shown up in thread yet, and I'm not sure whether or not to keep the activity vote when it's possible Aeiou might not show before I have to go!!!!!!!!!

I don't know what to think about Jeanne. On the one hand, completely inactive players are oftentimes town--especially in vanilla games. On the other hand, completely inactive players are a huge detriment to town because they're a voice that could be contributing to speculation. I kind of want to vote for her because??????? But... I also feel like she is probably town because vanilla town is more likely to be MIA than vanilla mafia. idk man. idk.

I'd also feel okay voting for Deo. Deo hasn't been mafia in a long time, but his playstyle is like... glaringly different. Almost like he's attempting to be more active to blend in.

Where has Dylan been all day? :T He was way more talkative D1.

I don't know if I will move my vote if Jeanne doesn't show up by the end of the phase! On one hand, it's USUALLY true that people who are voted off for inactivity are more often town!! However, on the other hand, in the long term, if we let that generally/always stop us from voting off inactives and people who aren't speculating at all, we give mafia players a really really easy strategy to avoid being lynched!!! And while it's true that mafia players who try that tend to get hit by vigilantes anyway (hello, Sammie from lit maf!!!!) this is a vanilla game and we can't take players out like that!!!!! Plus, we NEED an active town in this game because speculation is literally all we have to go on!!!!!! We can't have someone investigate inactive players like we might be able to in a less vanilla game!!!!!!! Vanilla games are very difficult for town in general!!!!!!!! A townie who doesn't talk and speculate is actively hurting their team!!!!!!!!!!

I really don't know what to think about deo, though! On the one hand, what he's saying is pretty suspicious, especially the continued willingness to vote me after being tempted to do so as an activity vote!! But that doesn't really quite feel like a proper scumslip, either, so I'm a little hesitant!!! And I don't know him well enough to know whether or not he's just kind of ditzy in general!!!! I think of the two, I feel better lynching Jeanne because whether she's mafia or inactive town she's being detrimental!!!!! Jeanne, where are you?!!!!!!

re: Duck - The thing is is that your game was fairly small (and of that game, Lux was the major target in the realm of people likely to be killed in terms of referencing Ninfia's correct guess of the NK and from that, extrapolation of who the sender was; furthermore, the larger the mafia is, the more deliberation there is on the NK, and therefore it's harder to attribute "yes this person died, therefore x is mafia"/do a 1:1 thing)! Most of what else I wanted to highlight in your post is in Raie's post, though, so I won't loop around and discuss it again.

I think... some of the weirdness from your spec comes from your referencing of only a handful of games, which aren't necessarily applicable to this game!! Which I can't necessarily fault you for, per se, since you've only played a few games!!!

Deo's list of people he doesn't want to vote is ringing a lot of bells for me especially since it includes Angel (who has been mostly quiet) and Dylan (who is always pretty scummy). Mafia often sprinkle one or two of their own in "I won't vote these people" lists and he just... didn't... provide any reasons Deo why did you not provide any reasons and then leave for the rest of the phase Deo why Deo I'm going to vote you. i suck at tic tac toe! i spent like ten seconds trying to decide where i wanted to put silas's stupid adorable baby face!! and then i spent like an extra twenty seconds just looking at his stupid adorable baby face!!! and i'll probably lose anyway becaus ei suck at tic tac toe!!!!

@mitsu - i! just don't really have any ideas tbh since i haven't been following the game closely!! sorry, i wish i could be more helpful and i will try to be!!! starting next phase because i'm actually not really feeling like backreading through ten pages of games and other Funny Things!!!!

Some thoughts!

I thought Blaire's sudden change of personality was kind of weird! I was not sure if that meant Blaire was busy or that was just the product of phone posts, or what!! But I guess I am not sure if I think Burgermeister is mafia, since Blaire voted ... Blaire!!! In a vanilla game where there are no role powers, and especially in a vanilla game where the vote spread when she voted was a three way one vote tie!!!! Unless Blaire is part of a mafia team or had some inkling that her vote would be inconsequential in the long run or she is doing some kind of weird gambit where she unvotes and revotes like 1 min before phase end, I am not sure if mafia would willingly selfvote/be suicidal!!!!! By voting for herself and adding herself to the tie!!!!!!!

Blaire! I am currently cursed to look like Klavier Gavin!! I have been cursed by Lucas to remain in this forum until the next round of games start!!! It's me!!!! The one who introduced you to that webcomic!!!!!
