Talk about a slow phase, though I guess there's really not all that much we can go off for for the sake of doing scumreads, is there? I'm not really looking at anyone too hard right about now, despite the recent discussion. I commented before that there might be something we can glean from the movement of quirks, but? Who knows.
I guess if I had to look at anyone as standing out as immediately suspicious, it would probably be... Onyxia.
At the start of the day phase, we had our raid leader call out the tactics for handling Onyxia's raid encounter mechanics. The players split into groups of evens and odds--remember this, it's important. For the fight, it was imperative to DPS slowly to not trigger phase shifts (at certain HP percentages) too soon. Similar to the fight, we were told to speculate slowly. I'll come back to that in a minute.
Before we look at Onyxia, we need to ask: Why kill Onyxia? There's T2 helms, but perhaps just as notable, the chance at a Scale of Onyxia. What is the scale used for? To craft Onyxia Scale Cloaks to lower the damage received from Shadowflame during the Nefarian encounter in Blackwing Lair. Nefarian is Onyxia's brother.
Brother.
In this thread, we happen to have several sets of siblings. Tet is Cure's twin brother--just as Lucas was brother to Cure and Rasei in Snowball Mafia. The constant in both of these is Cure.
Cure. Cure can mean several things. Curing hides? Curing meat? Curing wounds? In What's the point of any of this, Cure suggested her name be replaced with "Antidote". The meaning of her name is clear: She is meant to cure wounds and sickness.
Priests cure wounds in various RPGS and MMOs. In curing wounds, they heal their allies. Healing someone brings them back up to full health, which is called topping them off. The top poster on the current page as I write this is Dylan.
Dylan. Dylan loves robots. Robots can be called automatons. Automaton's etymology traces back to around 1610 from both Latin and Greek roots. Trees have roots. Monkeys like to climb trees. Why? To get bananas. Bananas are yellow. Lucas' avatar has yellow hair. Lucas also has yellow hair in real life. In other words, Lucas looks like his avatar.
Avatar is the highest grossing movie of all time, earning $2,787,965,087 in its run. Remember what I said before about evens and odds? What does that number start and end with? 2 and 7. Evens. And odds.
2 + 7 = 9. There are 3 mafia in this game. What are mafia to town? 3 times as suspicious as other players. 3 x 3 = 9. With 10 town, we get, 10 - 9 = 1. 1 game of mafia. The numbers fit into place... nearly perfectly.
... nearly.
Near is the name of a character in the widely popular series Death Note. What is Death Note about? A murderous criminal trying to evade being apprehended by an equally cunning mastermind. Sounds familiar, doesn't it? Like I'm describing a game of... mafia. Light was playing mafia the whole time, while taking a potato chip and eating it.
Eating. What do people eat? Food? Food has two O's. The O blood type has a nickname as the universal donor. Donors gift things to other people. Gifts are prominent items exchanged around the holidays, as well as in relationships.
I think it's time we come back to Onyxia, our initial suspect. Her relationship to the thread is born out of memes. As can be said, this is a meme game of mafia. Despite her connection, we have yet to see Onyxia make an actual appearance, unlike the dragon that appeared for the players to raid back during Roles From A Hat mafia last year. Some might say that her relationship to the thread is that she is avoiding it... or lurking.
Earlier, I said to pay attention to how we were told to speculate slowly. In other words, we were told not to post. What is it that a lurker does? Doesn't post.
To send post, you need to visit the post office. The postal services run from Monday to Saturday, but not on Sundays. In the popular series, Harry Potter, Uncle Vernon states, "No post on Sundays." However, a letter does arrive despite his assumptions. This letter is delivered by... an owl.
An owl.
Curious animal, isn't it? Beautiful creature, but not many people seem to use it as their avatars presently, do they? Except one.
Ace. Ace has an owl for an avatar.
Ladies and gentlemen, I think we can all see here that the evidence is conclusive and cannot be refuted.
Ace is mafia, confirmed.
Vote: No lynch, though.
