I guess everyone's voting Duck because he hasn't really said anything substantial?? And chi's dream list? I mean I guess that makes sense and I have no qualms (haha I almost typed quacks) voting Duck it's just... people hopped onto that really quickly..... ._. Something feels wrong

Duck is scummy, I had already voted Duck. I stunned Duck last night. There was no NK. Everyone sort of wanted to vote Duck. Chi shows up and has a dream with a mafia in it and Duck is one of the three people.

Alright, I think the decision is pretty much made. I feel bad since Duck probably won't be around to see the bandwagon, but I don't feel strongly enough to vote against him nor is there anyone I'd like to put up for lynch next to him. vote: Entelechy. If new information comes to light about them I'm open to changing and waiting for them to weigh in on it, but otherwise I'm okay with this wagon.

Anyway, I did a quick skim of the thread, and yes, I am The Doctor!! Also, since I've pretty much used it all up because I really wanted to see it in rollover, "travelling through time and space" is a jail that protects both me and my target from all actions. Unless my n1 action didn't land, I'm essentially vanilla now ;-; so, uhh, n0 I jailed Ninfia, n1 was nautilus and n2 was vowels

I'm gonna do a more thorough backread but I'm gonna place a vote: Duck right now because of chi's results and the things others have mentioned

I do have a flavour line in rollover! Like I said, my flavour line specifically requires something ... really... specific to happen for it to show up in rollover, which is kinda why I wanted to wait and see what would happen and jfc I wasn't expecting it to show up ever

Given that it's appeared in rollover, I can make some inferences as to what happened last night, action-wise (though I'm... not... particularly sure how useful it'd be, since I don't have anything super solid to work with and looking back me saying this sounds like I have a ton of information but I do not). I was going to see if anyone'd say anything vaguely contradictory to my idea of what happened last night, but that never happened, so \o/ cool beans.

Anyways.

Normally I'd be kind of hesitant because chi pretended to be town dreamer and tried to take Duck out in Lit Maf, but it does fit thematically with her character's personality (her character is pretty much the kind of person who would get inspired to write music and scrawl masterpieces all over the place) and she's being way more explicit here about it than she was in that game (SUNSETS) where she was vague to avoid having to explain her role to everyone else in detail, so this does not feel like... maf chi and I'm pretty dang comfortable following her results for now.

e3: Ninfia does actually bring up a good point about Ducky, because Ducky advocated for a lot of tricky messing up the town stuff while we were mafia together in Lux's minigame and I can see maf!duck advocating for double drums, actually.

Ducky as maf places (placed in that game, at least) a lot of value in what information town can gleam from rollover to figure out who the mafia are and proposed some strange plans to throw town off (and suggested rng'd NKs to throw off town in a vanilla game so that town wouldn't work backwards from the NK targets), so it kind of fits in line with a mafia doing double drums, Ducky's stun and posting aside. I'm not sure how much sway Duck would have in such a giant maf, but it's some 2c

My ability requires specific conditions to be met to appear in rollover, and I will never be made aware if anyone ever acts on me with some sort of disruptive action (stun/jail/redirect/what have you). When I said it wasn't consistent in and of itself, I mean that even if I'm not stunned or jailed or redirected, I can't tease out "things not falling into place" with idk, "someone jailed me" because my flavour is not going to appear all that often, and I don't receive any feedback at all that'll determine whether or not I've been acted on or not

With that said, I have no idea whether or not your action landed on me successfully on n1 (though... huh. I'm not going to make assumptions but I feel like if you have a x-shot ability, you should be able to determine when a use has been used up (or ask the host, at least?), but I know in CCS maf I ... didn't know when my bulletproofs were used up, so I don't know if alca's running the same rules here).

God, rereading this thread nearly gave me a heart attack because I didn't see chi's dreamer investigation at first (I was reading backward) so I was really confused why Rasei had mentioned me at the top of one of the posts lol

@nautilus; my role specifically mentions being protected from all actions, including kills, so I'm actually more sure than not that I'm out ;-; Will clarify with alca-chan though!

Also, cross-referencing Kiyo's protected persons list with my targets, I'm guessing jails also get included in their results? Though to be fair, my role pm said I could invite someone in my ship and we'd travel time and space, stopping them from acting that night but also protecting both of us soooo, I mean, it /sounds/ like a jail, but not exactly I guess??

Ohhh, no, I meant like... if you thought you were stunned out of your action or redirected or something, I feel like you could ask alca to see whether or not you have a use of your ability left to rule out being stunned/jailed?

I wouldn't be able to tell if you acted on me though, since I can't tell whether or not blocking roles have acted on me for the most part :( I'm sorry I couldn't be of more help!

I... have a bit of a theory about the distribution of roles in this game, but like I said earlier I have no idea what alca actually did here, so I'm not sure about it...

I'll going to be away until after rollover, so I'll just save us the trouble and say that I am mafia, but I do want to say that not being here has not at all been part of my strategy, I just have been legitimately more busy this week and done more this than in the past month combined lmao.

And, yeah, I didn't stand a chance this game. I have the scummiest sounding daily use power "Create a disguise" and then a one shot power that I couldn't use until N2, which would tell everyone exactly what character I was with a single google : P

Oh! And Cure? You stopped me from giving Five a vig kill last night. As in, giving her a gun (sword) to kill someone with. Because the gun could definitely be traced back to me that was the best defense I could think of?

Off the top of my head, this sounds like a frame of some sort or like... the lit maf's dog dousing themselves in bleach or something, and the fact that Ducky didn't go in-depth about it makes me think mafia has used it already

... However, I'm kind of approaching Ducky's post (at least the part where they out their abilities) with a grain of salt because, uh, idk how to feel about it coming out like this. I don't... doubt Ducky is lying about actually being mafia, because why would town do this, but I'm unsure about the other actions, and I'm not sure if rest of mafia (especially after the whole katagi thing from D2, since they are down a power role) would want the nitty gritty about Ducky's actions to be known by the entire thread. Even if they did, supposedly, clear Ducky's post. For all we know this entire post could be a lie

I guess we have a mortician, maybe (Saki?) so any inconsistencies could be worked out, though.

In non-duck related matters:

I did see Five's comment, and I think it's... plausible that there are actions that affect the game but don't appear in rollover (as in, not something like Aeiou's second action where she can use it, but it doesn't appear in rollover if it fails to work, but the other way around where it works but doesn't appear), given the number of abilities with restrictions on their appearances in rollover. If such an invisible role did exist, I'd actually consider it maf over town, since it involves masking information from the game.
