fwiw I don't think Aeiou is guaranteed mafia and my reasons for wanting to vote Aeiou are 100% based around how people who are not Aeiou are reacting to Aeiou, and I'm only advocating this lynch because of the sheer amount of questions it'll answer

For the people who are 90%+ sure that Aeiou is mafia, I would also like to hear your reasoning in case there's something I'm missing!

edit: also agree that Vowels might not be 100% maf, but lynching her will give us much more to go off of regarding other people's alignments than randomly firing into the crowd of lucas/dylan/tet would.

edit edit: a lot of the things she's said that I find scummy could easily be townie mistakes and really don't make sense for a mafia member to do, but I think her death/alignment flip will shed a lot of light on other people. namely chinomi, duck, and lucas.

I don't mind lynching Aeiou, personally, as I'm not quite sure how to read her right now. I agree that it would help to answer many questions, but I am equally open to the idea of lynching drandahl or high seraph (grumbles about making the Tet/Tiki connection before rollover). I'm also conflicted because if we just unanimously vote to lynch Aeiou, mafia just hides in the bandwagon and we learn a lot less than we might otherwise. That said, since we're not 100% sure what Aeiou's alignment might be, it may be hard to read the situation one way or another.*

Funny thing is, drandahl's apparent perma-scum and high seraph's usual whimsical posting styles are thwarting us here regardless of alignment. It's completely in drandahl's nature to just vote Tet randomly, just as it is in high seraph's nature to somehow not mention his pass on N0 after multiple prompts and juggle his vote about weirdly. But these are still concerning tips of what may be a mafia iceberg. /shrug

Lynching Vowels will shed light on people's alignments based on how they voted during D1, which they cannot retroactively change. Also we're still sitting at a fairly nice ratio, even if she's town. I am fairly positive we'll be able to deduce at least ONE mafia member based on how she flips.

Oh, yeah, I'm not contesting that. I completely agree with it. I'm just saying were we in a situation where we could more organically push lynches and votes throughout the phase, but ultimately still lynch Aeiou, for instance, we would stand to gain some information based upon how various players move their votes between today and last day phase.

But this can't really happen if we just decide to lynch Aeiou outright, and thus mafia just slips in and says, "Yeah, let's vote on Aeiou." Thus my lament. As said, I'm fine with lynching any of drandahl, lucas, or Aeiou, but in a vacuum we have more to gain purely from Aeiou's alignment flip, I think.
