I honestly don't know why I haven't looked up this earlier, because it directly lends support to my item generator theory.
The item generator = the item copier, except they copy people into items.

Thank you for taking the time to answer my questions, though, Katagi. Sorry to say that I'm not particularly convinced.
I also find it strange that you'd have a one-shot copying of an item, when I can act once on every item that comes into existence. If you were a real item copier (that copies items from existing items) and different items existed like you also said you believe they do in theory, I'd sooner believe you'd be able to copy each different item once.
