fwiw Gerry, even if your action showed up in kiyo's protect list and you were irrefutably shown to be a jailer, I'd still think you were mafia. A lot of it is process of elimination, and also you were the most unwilling to vote for people who have been more or less confirmed mafia.

I also agree with Kiyoko that I'm really interested in hearing Angel's answer, though tbh maybe it's because I woke up really early today and barely got any sleep last night that I'm having trouble following Tiki's example

Raie, as I said last night, it was 3 am, I'd spent about two hours close reading on some players, and Ace was one of them. I had largely decided that he wasn't on my radar when I saw that chi had posted her results and basically all my work re: them was useless. so I basically aborted writing the rest of the post and went to bed because I was exhausted. I can admit I could be wrong about lux regardless, because of my own feelings on the matter which have already been outlined.

I'm kinda frustrated because you're loud and you just fucking decide things without any reason sometimes. "oh man, ninfia is totally acting how she does as maf". this may come as a shock to you, but when I'm maf I try to act like how I do when I'm town. if you think I'm maf, prove it. quote the posts where I do scummy things. thus far I have claimed I was stunned when I had no reason to do so because there was no nk and that inherently makes me suspicious, was the first one to shoot down katagi trying to be like "hey maybe it blocks out the nk and rollover but leaves everyone else", I have posted my thoughts on other players, and close read focusing on several players while also providing links to posts that I thought were relevant and I've been as transparent as I can about when my flavour will show up without it making my role useless. also if you think for one second I'd be okay with katagi acting twice in a row you don't know me at all lmaoo. being loud =/= being right.

so like, whatever. if you think I'm maf, I guess you could try and convince everyone else of that but you'd be wrong.

alright now that I've gotten that off my chest, lets get back to what was actually useful from my longer post.

Gerry. Like Lux, he tends to get demoralized pretty easily as maf, and considering that the mafia has had a really bad run of luck so far, I could see him being maf and mostly just trying to lay low and survive at this point.

Tiki has been kind of... how to describe it, whimsical? this game? the fact that the mafia has had such bad luck almost makes me think that Tiki could be on this team because the poor thing used up all his maf luck on meme mafia, but I also don't necessarily think he's been that scummy, and I linked to a post which made me kind "hm" towards Tiki being maf. I could still see it, because he hasn't been contributing in the way he usually would as town, but I have less strong feelings about it.

When it comes to Lux, as I said, she does tend to get demoralized. stress from the game + stress from the prep for the trip could make her sort of check out from the game. I have a hard time seeing her and Katagi being on the same team, but I could also see her deciding that it was better to use things up sooner rather than later and try and get a stealth nk, which I could see duck pushing for as well. I know lux went to bed pretty early and was up pretty early this morning so... she could have been talking with duck if they are on the same team.

I don't think ezz and lux are on the same team, but I had initially been close reading ezz's posts as well when I was making my big long one but I decided that I didn't think she was maf in my sleep addled state, or that I at the very least didn't think I needed to focus on her so closely.

so, my gut says that lux could be maf at this point, which I didn't really want to see last night which was potentially skewing my reads. my gut also said that ezz wasn't at 2 in the morning, enough that I decided to not close read her posts.

Angel herself has been... quiet but straightforward, but I think that as we saw in Tiki's playstyle in meme maf, that can work. the more confusion that is spread via conflicting claims, questions of balance, and truthfullness, the better that angel could lay low. if Tiki and Angel are maf, it would be of a huge benefit to them to have two redirects. If tiki's role would give them that, it makes sense they would do that.

so if we decided at the very least that Duck and Gerry are likely maf, I could see the following combination:

Tiki
Angel
Lux Or ezz, but I don't really see ezz in this team very strongly.

I haven't tried to convince anyone else to agree with me on you being mafia? I haven't been like GUYS NINFIA IS OBVIOUSLY MAFIA WE GOTTA LYNCH HER. At this point you've been sliding lower and lower on my suspect list. The remaining mafia could easily be Gerry, Tiki, Lux, Angel.

If I am, in fact, Maf this game, my luck probably works via some sorting charging/cooldown mechanic. I'll have to wait another year to build it back up. XD

Well, uhm...I was gonna ninja edit with a "lawl, Lux" thing, but uh...some of these other posts are starting to get a bit awkward...

If anyone currently doesn't feel great about the game right now or needs to step away from it, then please go and do so, especially since this phase is going to be slow anyways since it's a pile-on on Duck.

Mafia should be about fun games and Lucas posting a photoshop of a fire emblem character on a wrecking ball, and regardless of what anyone's alignment is in this thread
