Re: T3tsuya.
So at first you understood Rasei's role to function as such:
T3tsuya wrote:I find it weird to believe both Rasei and plotstickers would be message senders.
T3tsuya wrote:Like I said. All of that is very, very convenient. Gives us a situation where we can only prove things if we kill her and gives someone else to be blamed at the same time.
T3tsuya wrote:Gives us a situation where we can only prove things if we kill her and gives someone else to be blamed at the same time.
Rasei had previously said:
Rasei wrote:Player gets the will via Nautilus's pm. They are told they can write 100 characters, then send it to Nautilus. When rollover happens, the will will be posted by the player's death.
I only get one will, and can only send it out during the day.
This seems incredibly straight-forward. Rasei said she'd give another player the ability to write 100 characters, sent through Nautilus, and then if that player dies then the will they wrote would be revealed to the thread upon death. But okay, even if you misunderstood, you promptly stated:
T3tsuya wrote:Additionally on the Rasei situation. I am crazy suspicious of anyone who would suggest that if we do test her theory, we'd send it to anyone other than Ardonye, who is quite literally the only 100% confirmed by a dead person town. This should be obvious.
In the context of your previous understanding of the role, that you showed, this would mean:
1. You thought Rasei to be a message sender.
2. That Rasei, herself, would have to die, and the recipient of the will would be told the information. Thus that the recipient wouldn't be given the "message" until after Rasei was lynched.
3. You point out it could only be sent during the day.
So your idea of it would be that someone that
just claimed to have lost deathproof would need to be lynched, and that Ardonye wouldn't receive a message until after Rasei was lynched by town, and that if this was her way of alibi, then:
T3tsuya wrote:All of that is very, very convenient. Gives us a situation where we can only prove things if we kill her and gives someone else to be blamed at the same time. We are a notoriously cautious crowd this game, I think it's obvious what option would be chosen.
So you immediately create a situation where she can
only protect herself if we lynch her and suggest that the thread, as a whole, will not. That said, you follow this up with the aforementioned statement that you would be suspicious of ANYONE suggesting we have Rasei message someone other than Ardonye.
For your next post, you replied to Rasei's statement of:
Rasei wrote:You will write a 100 character will that will be posted if you die. (If I chose you)
. . . with . . .
T3tsuya wrote:Ok so this changes things exponentially. I was under the presumption that you would post a will if you died. The fact that Rasei's roleclaim essentially gave her someone to put the blame on as well as incentive to kill them to prove what she said, that makes it fit my definition of "Convenient" even harder than before.
Again, she had been exceptionally clear with how her role works, in my opinion, far clearer than she usually is with these things. However, now you think that the will wouldn't be read until Ardonye dies, thus providing our only proof, but
Rasei said that the player would be given a PM by the host stating they had received the will. As Ardonye is our confirmed town, wouldn't her word stating, "Yo, I got a will" be proof enough? Why does killing Ardonye come into the equation?
But, continuing on, remember how you said you'd question any plan where we don't give it to Ardonye? Apparently you got confused, but you provided an amusing contradiction.
T3tsuya wrote:Given the situation I see two scenarios here being viable.
Rasei sends her will to herself. We Lynch her. If she's telling the truth we'll see the Will, we can to get Mr Alice to take out other Alice, and if that fails we Lynch.
Rasei sends the Will to Alice. We Lynch her. If no note comes up we'll do what we can to get Mr Alice to take out Rasei, and if that fails we Lynch.
This will both give us information on if we can trust Mr Alice, and see if Rasei is lying at the same time as making a lynch that is on the generally accepted list of suspicion.
The first scenario just kills off a town for free and we gain virtually nothing from it other than Rasei's word against AliceofOz performing a NK on her last night, which means a mafia to town trade of 1:1, but we would be immediately killing a town rather than hunting out potential mafia.
The second scenario kills an unknown that Rasei believes to be mafia. But alternatively, from a mafia perspective, this just busses a player believed to be mafia and pseudo-outed by Rasei--and if you're mafia, you'd know that Rasei is being honest. So in this way, mafia closes up a loose end and looks a lot more genuine.
I don't know, man....
I'm waiting to hear from Ardonye to 100% confirm Rasei's status, but... You know? Damn, dude.
Edit: I just noticed you posted while I was typing this. Reading.
Edit 2:
T3tsuya wrote:One last thing before I vote. Rasei how did you come to the conclusion that it was Alice that popped your bulletproof? What kind of PM did you receive, if any?
I would also like an answer to this.
