I still need to wrap my mind around all that has happened, but I guess Blaire was mafia so that's cool. Also welcome back Sammie and Cure!!!! I'm glad you're both back with us ; w;

Speaking of which, I suppose we're gonna hear from Blaire again soon too right?? Since the mafia can also revive themselves with their own monkey paws... Which means that we ARE gonna have to kill each mafia, like, 3 times, possibly... I-I get the feeling this is gonna be a long game haha

I'm also glad to see that the ratio issue has been covered and pretty much solved, pending only confirmation from drandahl's part. Cure's theory, as I understand, is that drandahl counts for the ratio twice and also has a double vote (placed by a mysterious person called ????, aka lindahl aka drandahl aka dylan). Tbh I don't suspect drandahl at all atm, because I feel like I'm starting to understand his playstyle a little more, even though I think some things he does are kind of scummy?? idk

On the other hand, I'm not sure what to think about Tiki yet. He's just... acting like he always does?? The votes on him were kind of random and non-committal, and he didn't act in any way that made me more or less certain that he could be mafia. Although, it IS Tiki, so it can go either way. He was mafia in Snowball Bash Mafia and I didn't suspect him for even a second .__.

With Cure and Sammie cleared, the list of possible mafia is (with a few of my notes):

8. drandahl - he is being sensitive with his information but I get a general town vibe from him this time

Hello I am here now. Apologies for not being around but life basically swiftly kicked me in the head and I haven't been thinking straight.

That being said, I hope people don't mind if I summarize some things so I can try and wrap my head around this game because right now my head is stuck in dokidoki mode??

Tiki the Troll - did not act on n0 apparently (see his comment on lux voting him)

drandahl - acted n0, claims ratio issues are because of him, aware Sammie was dead, not every night action? v. forthcoming with his role. i'm a bit ? over a role that deliberately misinforms the game/skews the ratio but at the same time i'm not sure if this was a prescribed side effect of his role or actually part of his major wish. I feel like we'll have a lot of anti-town side effects this game tbh to counteract whatever people wished for so I'm a bit wary of associating alignment with role effects since we don't if it's someone deliberately wishing for something terribly anti-town or just some invisible part of my role

also i reminisced about the last time i knew someone who had a really anti-town ability but was unaware of it and that was horrifying

Lucas - passive (also: yes I'm fairly certain all of the alumni know Lucas)
cure - passive, triggers on death maybe?... but now it's lost and it was this:
"I had a chance to passively redirect all actions aimed at me at any time. ty for making me lose my role, drandahl. and by ty, I mean no ty."

weird things - blaire somehow died (btw that is not part of my role ability unless kotakia threw in a secret clause that every phase i don't vote someone dies horribly)

As an aside, re: protection -

My guess is that's a normal protection ability wished for, but the side effect is that it's super loud and shows up in rollover.

In non-Monkey Paw games this has actually happened (where the protected target is made explicit in rollover), so I wouldn't put too much stock in the belief that if the protection role is a doctor or bulletproof that the side effect is simply that it's very visible.

fwiw i actually don't know what to think of anyone in this game and this is what happens when you don't play games for weeks on end

So... who's for just systematically lynching/killing everyone and having everyone self-revive?

I JUST... bolded the ppl I had interesting notes on omg sorry it made things kinda confusing hahahaa. The only thing I know fo sho abt Doak is that she knows a lot abt monkeys I guess

So, now that I'm finally home, I realized I dodged a bullet...looking at my phone in the last minutes before rollover, I got Doak and Aeiou confused, so I thought I was at two votes, not still tied for three. XD
