I have only been stunned once, but that's pretty much all I know. My flavour isn't gonna show up unless one or two things happen, period. which I stated clearly.

I just really don't have anything past that.

I understand that, re: lux tho. part of the reason I'm defending her is she is......... coming to visit me, right? so I feel bad that she's feeling stressed with travel prep + game. I'm kinda putting my neck out here because, well. if irl stuff is what's going on with her and she is town, I've hurt my own team ;w;

re: duck's... posts. I agree that they aren't on topic. I am willing to make for some allowances when it comes to this stuff as I'm doing with lux. I feel like Duck!maf wouldn't... draw this much attention? like, they'd say "sorry, busy day", but the excited retelling of the bunny saga makes me sort of agree with Mitsu's read.

All this talk of role distrubtion, about a butt to of vigilantes and protects, and how Alca apparently has a penchant for these games makes me think...

Tiki flashbacks to last year, a game hosted by Alcasync. Amumu has been RNG'd to be Mafia after Pan dropped out. This left the Town to lynch Rasei right away. Scared, lost, alone (so very alone), Amumu had to use his NK, his stun, and his friendship (to trade role info with one other player) to defeat...a killproof watcher with a phase end, a hider who saw what attacked her and had vig kills, a vigilante doctor, and an unblockable vigilante with vote powers, and who revealed who attacked her upon getting taken out by a kill power.

It went about as well as expected. XD
Not a single player who was Town from beginning to end was taken out, except for the last one mentioned, which immediately led to Amumu getting ousted.
This game doesn't have mandated roleplay, isn't a minigame, and is much smaller, but looks to be a similar setup...and with any luck, going a similar direction. That would be a switch for Rasei and I. XD

Edit: To be fair, I think Pan was a vigilante, while Rasei had some very powerful vig and protect stuff going on, as the ones who were designed to be Maf, unlike poor Amumu. Still, point stands, there's probably a lot of protect, a lot of investigation, and a lot of kill power out there.

This may change after Ace and angel speak up but I'm not a fan of waiting for everyone to talk before making progress deciding who to lynch because sometimes people don't show up until way late in the phase. This list is in order of how people show up on frontpage, and not in order of how suspicious I am of them.

I am leaning towards maybe voting Duck this phase but I need more discussion before I'm ready to throw down a vote.

e: @everyone who's asked, I don't really have visibility into jails and if someone is protected twice I'm not aware of that. I just know that these players had an active protect on them during that night phase (as in, the player who protected them wasn't stunned out of using their protection).

@ninfia again. Another thing is that... I feel like most of your posts this game have just been repeating/agreeing with things other people have said rather than pressuring people to talk or active scumhunting. Whereas even in lit maf where you were neutral, you were pretty aggressive and trying to get discussion going. you seem very passive this game and it lines up with how you acted in snowball bash/SMT maf. idk.


I would be very comfortable voting Duck, as I stunned Duck last night based on SUSPICIONS based on the lack of on-topic contribution and the lack of very strange and overly-specific anti town plans we should all participate in

Off the top of my head like five people have claimed some variety of investigation, so this makes me think this might be like bed and breakfast where we have to piece shit together like a puzzle from investigations? I can see town having a collection of different investigations, too.

For what it's worth, I wouldn't necessarily disagree with a lynch on Lux because I do feel like some of her posts (specifically, her long tl;dr that I quoted from last phase) have felt a little off and weird to me, but I'm not sure whether or not that's the fault of her trip or whether or not she's mafia.

In truth, given the slimness of the ratio I'm not sure if town!lux or maf!lux would be so accepting of their lynch, but her situation irl throws a wrench into my analysis of this (normally I'd feel like both luxes would be aggressively throwing the lynch off of them, perhaps town!lux a bit more which is why I was bracing for that post). I... hope this doesn't sound too mean, but should you find that you're unable to continue playing due to irl stuff/your trip, it might be a good idea to try and seek out a replacement (given that the ratio is as weirdly tight as it is)

Should Angel and Ace not show up I'd be down with a lynch on Ducky (or Angel/Ace but that would mostly be a policy lynch based on lack of info), given that Lux's aware of her inactivity and may get replaced...???

Made an edit in my previous post but also to clarify, knowing about protects isn't the primary use of that role. It's just a side effect where I happen to know this info in addition to the main effect of green glowy circle, so I'm kind of limited in what I can offer, and I don't really want to reveal what all of green glowy circle does at this point. It's just that I sensed that people might start FoSing people who were stunned, and I wanted to I guess share that we've got a shitton of protects on fairly high priority NK targets, and maf might straight up be going for those obvious targets.

Mafia (likely) going after high priority/straightforward targets makes me think it's even less likely that mafia is composed of Sneaky Players(tm) that are more likely to go after unusual targets to confuse town.

I think we can afford one mislynch if we do decide to policy lynch duck, lux, or ace, because we haven't had a town death and we did murder katagi pretty quick.

Why must so much of this game remind me of game's gone from from my past? XD

As for voting? Well, I was also honest in Meme Mafia that it was my strategy to play more like I did in Lit Maf, and Animal Crossing Maf, which were probably my best games as Town. Buuut, since I'm obviously around, I feel I should do more to contribute than just post silly things (ys, spurred on by people looking at those who have been posting a lot, but not saying much, heh).

I guess several of you have gut reads on Lux, who I usually just kinda follow along with, unless we're on opposite sides in these games, heh. Not a bad vote, I guess...but I know getting ready for her trip to Canada has been rough on her too. :( I could see that messing with her usual game.

People have been pointing at Ninfia now, too. She has spent most of her posts defending others, esp. Lux n' Duck. I'm not sure that's really all that conducive, moving forward, though, agin giving upcoming events, I can see her going softer on Duck n' Lux.

Speaking of Entelchy...so...uh...is this what it was like to try and figure me out in my early days of Mafia? XD He is posting a lot, with some spec, though not much meaty to it. I do recall him being a lot less long winded, and more to the point in Meme Mafia, though.

Though, high spec targets are usually high on the priority list, but also investigators, and most investigator claims seem to be coming from people not usually as high on the NK priority list as others? Honestly, looking at the protects on Kiyo (always a main target), and the 2 claimed role cops (more or less for the purposes of this game), I could see the NK going to any one of those 3.

I really don't want to lynch Luxxxiepop or the Duck this phase due to their obligations, but they're also among the more suspicious players to me, Duck especially. I might be comfortable with voting Gerry. I want to hear more from him and angelstar if possible.

Lucas and ezzelin are at the top of my "don't vote" list right now, followed by Saki and Aeiou and Raie. My avowed friend would almost certainly never lead us astray like this. There's a chance he's wrong, I suppose, but trust me when I say you don't need to worry about it, right now especially.

I have a hunch about Nautilus, but it's probably nothing--on the off chance that it's right, though, I get the feeling she's likely town and also picked a really really good character? Like wow 11/10 choice if you picked who I think you maybe possibly did.

edit: I do think that if Tiki is a mafia reflect, he can't send in the NK ala Kiyo from Gakuen 1. Unless I'm misinterpreting it and he's still affected by the actions used on him, but it still stands to reason that if a stunner was stunned by stunning tiki with their own stun they just wouldn't stun in the first place so tiki wouldn't be stunned. paradoxes.


Edit edit for more tiki: Investigators would fall under the "straightforward" category of expected NK targets for this particular game. I know that when I'm mafia and a power role has been openly claimed in thread, I often don't kill them unless there's a reliable way to make them vulnerable. Otherwise, town most certainly will protect them.

It seems like he's affected by them and then spits a copy back out--that's how Return Magic worked in the game and it explains the two buses with the same flavor.

Dunno why this stands out to me but up until this point I'd basically claimed nothing about my ability outside of that I was aware who Raie acted on, and nobody except Raie had any particular townie vibes about me, so unless I straight up made mafia shit their pants by listing out their whole team in my "would vote" list last phase, I don't actually think I'd be a high priority NK target. I am aware of who protected me, though, and understand their reasons for doing so, and I won't out them to the thread.
