Roleplay Mafia Minigame ❧ NIGHT SIX

A) He bluffed about using his Guardian Field, and he actually used it last night to protect Kyouko or Soren (but this would be an extremely weird coincidence if we doubled up on Soren), and I find it hard to believe that he and Kyouko are both mafia and went for the "Prove our innocence by faking you as a hit twice!" since that does absolutely nothing for mafia, and I'm still suspecting Luke as it is--also, not to mention that there were two attacks, and again no vigilante has claimed it. If Luke actually did use Guardian Field last night to protect mafia as a mafia, then that instantly clears Soren since he was stunned and there were two mafia attacks, so unless a vigilante (or the weirdo scientist) had something to do with it, Soren/Luke just can't be real. And I already think it's fairly safe to assume Kyouko/Luke are not a pairing.

B) He bluffed about using his Guardian Field, and he actually used it last night, but the people he might've saved were already saved through myself and Kyouko's defense.

C) Or he attacked. We would have known if he had stunned someone. There's the possibility that Soren actually tried to attack Luke in the night, got stunned by him, and Amumu was visiting Soren to kill him and not actually stun--but then why wouldn't Amumu stun another target as well? Amumu had to have stunned Soren, and the only way Amumu would likely both attack and stun Soren is if he thought Soren could protect himself--but this is incredibly unlikely given that we had already claimed two supportive-ish roles in the game. There is a remote chance that Soren actually did try to attack Luke as mafia, got double-stunned by Amumu and Luke, and--that makes no sense because that would mean the other mafia attacked two targets, and one of those was a mafia buddy. Unless there was a vigilante attack, or Carlos being weird.

"I do not wish to put one on Amethyst since she's a giant question mark and on half of my most likely pairings. If she dies, whichever way she flips I gain a lot of information. I do not wish to put one on Cecil since he's also in a lot of my pairings, but it also seems like Carlos might have a mechanic to protect him. Probably a bluff? I think Cecil is an acceptable loss for information, like Amethyst.

That leaves Luke, Amumu, and Soren. I feel there's a chance one might be mafia. I think Amumu is fairly, fairly town, and might even be targeted to take his stuns out of the game. However, I think mafia will leave him up to potentially block a town player if he's misreading. Also, they might keep him up due to suspicions.

Luke supposedly has a revenge mechanic, which sounds like bait, but he also promised he's weak due to needing to recharge. Luke is near the top of my scum list, and not just for also claiming doctor and feigning death, but overall game tendencies, and the fact that I highly think Amumu misunderstands Luke's ability in that it protects only his alignment, possibly mafia. If Luke dies, I gain information.

That leaves Soren. Soren has a very powerful ability, supposedly, if mafia has bulletproof, which I kind of suspect that they do. I also think I stand to gain the least information from him dying out of everyone else. I think there's a fair chance he can be mafia, but it's lower than Amumu and Luke. I think mafia might also pick him off just to hit a neutral target that has few associations. I mostly think he is town.

I think I am likely to live through the night. They might not want to confirm my identity and instead let suspicions linger, but they might also think I'm going to protect myself. If I do die, they'll most likely suspect some combination that involves Soren. If Soren is mafia, he wouldn't want to single himself out. If he is not, they may wish to frame him. I'm over analyzing at this point, but I think I have sound logic."

Did you actually do anything last night? If so, what was it? And again, can Amumu actually kill someone? And can you clarify OOC how this interaction went down?

I feel fairly safe considering you town until I do more analysis, but I believe there's at least a 90% chance of you being town. Can you activate this bond with another player without their permission? Can it happen during the day, or does it have to be at night?  Which players do you most wish to use it on? Of the four, you could verify my story, and I could verify yours, which would might be a waste, but it eliminates my Soren/Cecil and Soren/Amethyst pairings. Using it on Luke would reiterate what Amumu says, and while it might clear at least one of them, I don't think it's a good use. You could use it on Kyouko, but I feel like she's pretty town. Cecil would give us some much needed information.

What sounds best to you? Or would you rather hold it?

By the way, do these bonds reveal bullet- and lynchproof?

6. To clarify the “Did you act last night?”, Carlos made a statement that everyone acted last night. I am not saying that I believe him, however, if it's true then mostly everyone is accounted for in some capacity. You're suggesting that the revenge-stun component of your Guardian Field kicked in last night and counted for your “action”? The only person that got stunned last night was Soren, but Amumu's stun would trigger before Soren even gets to attack (I've asked Alca about this before, but basically stun>everything from what I can tell—Alca, feel free to correct me here if I am wrong?), which means that Soren never actually attacked you. So,

A. Soren attacked you, got stunned by your ability, and then also got visited by Amumu. Since Amumu, under the above principles, did not cast a stun and prevent Soren from attacking you, that means Amumu was the one trying to kill Soren—but you're saying Amumu cannot kill anyone.

B. Soren tried to attack you, got stunned by Amumu, and your ability did not trigger.

If Carlos is telling the truth, then all you profess to doing is your passive stun, which would mean the “A” scenario happened, and you're implicating Amumu of being mafia. If Carlos is telling the truth and you acted, then you're the one that attacked Soren, since Amumu could corroborate your abilities and guarantee that you do not have a disguise that presents you from being identified. So in this case, either you attacked Soren, or you and Amumu are both the mafia together and he's covering you (which I previously mostly ruled out due to it being too obvious, but there's still a possibility).

But, you can claim that you performed no actions at all last night and thus claim that Carlos (who has no obligation to tell the truth) is lying. Which he probably is, in the end.
