Good lord. Alright. I have some ideas of what's going on, but I can't be freaking sure when there's pizza socks flying around, somebody is speaking in code, and another person is voting themselves to be lynched. I guess this more than makes up for the rollover being standard.
Lets break this down one thing at a time in the standard ACE DETECTIVE fashion.

- On N0: In Which I Expose my Love for the Phrase "In Which" -
N0 on the surface seems very standard but we can at least glean some very important clues from it.
Alcasync was targetted for a night kill and it was blocked. - We can safely assume Alcasync is Town. Mafia had no way of determining right off the bat if anybody had any protection powers or if anyone had any cute abilities that would make it advantageous to kill one of their own.
Less likely alternative is that mafia themselves have a protection role and protected their own man from a night kill to sway suspicion away from them. By virtue of the fact that this is a 9 person game where 3 people are mafia, I don't think even if that were true they could be afforded the luxury of wasting time in not killing. Which leads me to another assumption.
Mafia does not have a killing role, or at least does not have one active yet. - If mafia had a killing role they could use, they could have won by the end of D1. N0 Kill, Killing Role Kill, and then an incorrect lynch. They gain virtually nothing by not using it if they have it. So at least from this we can plan our roles as they become revealed accordingly.
Cthuluhoop was jailed - This means we have a jailer role somewhere, which is a very nice thing to have, and gives us a bit of useful information. Since Cthulu was jailed and a night kill was still attempted, we can assume that he, like Alcasync, is a Town. Again, there is another less likely chance that they are maf, and they did not send in the kill. I'm not sure how Kiyo is running blocked actions in regards to mafia sending in a kill / who needs to send it in. But I think the important part to take from that is that the kill "Failed" and was not "Blocked". The jailing and the night kill were independent actions from each other.
- On Odd Powers: And the People who Love Them -
Tiki is going full on suicidal on us and last night they posted a picture of Pizza Socks and insisted it had something to do with their power, while spouting similar nonsense the whole thread thus far. They are clearly a lynchproof, bomb, actual schizophrenic in REAL LIFE, or less likely a crazy person neutral role. Or they're pulling the biggest "NOT MAF" gambit I've seen in some time. I sincerely don't know what to make of it, so I won't extrapolate from incomplete information. I would be happy if discussion about this happened or Tiki saw fit to explain the crazy. Because I don't think Tiki's "I need Pizza Sock pictures to act" role involved jailing or blocking a night kill attempt.
Cthuluhoop seems to have a role revolving around alliteration or some other form of poetic device in their posts. I'm not sure if we got to see the results of what that does because he was jailed last night. So even though my first reaction was ready to press it, I think he is innocent of
Luxaria's Sudden Codespeak. So this one is weird. It might actually be a Day action, it wasn't stated at rollover. I'm still not convinced it would be Cthulu's because random garble does not a good poem make. It just doesn't jive with the role, in my opinion. Seems more like a spy type role.
It makes Luxaria's posts before a certain point completely illegible, and if I'm looking at it correctly it only affected the 2nd post she made after rollover. However when Luxaria posted again in reaction to it, her post was not messed with at all. And that can't be chalked up to Kiyo just not being on to change it, because I talked to her a few moments ago. So the action can safely assumed to be something limited pending some explaination, as she's not locked out from speaking entirely. I guess I have a few questions to Luxaria about this one.
Did you receive a note or something at, or after rollover? That seems like a spy kind of thing to do and any hints would be good. Also, have you attempted to repost what you were attempting to say before now that you can speak again? If you did and we can't see it, we have a role that can control and delete posts. If not, I think we can safely assume it only takes effect at a certain point and hits everything before then. Luxaria will likely be able to clear that one up for us.
I think I know who received my submitted role based on the posts thus far and it is an investigative role. So we have that going for us, which is nice.
- On Being an Angry Mob -
I am not convinced AliceofOz is guilty because of her egg enough to lynch her.Similarly,
I am not convinced it's entirely SAFE to lynch Tiki but I am really suspicious for obvious reasons. They're high up on the probability list for me. But I'm not ready to commit to that myself. Maybe I'm just being a big fat weenie about it. We should discuss it.
I am not entirely SURE that ԳOOHUUHT ƨv AIЯAXU⅃ means much. I think this is a lynch towards Cthulu, which I'm not sure if I agree with since they were jailed last night. But I think if we actually got to hear what Luxaria had to say that led her to wanting to lynch him, it would shed some light on things.
I'm, for now,
Voting: No Lynch. We haven't lost a town yet, and I don't feel we have enough information to go on to make a safe assumption. If everyone wants to do a wild, random lynch just to fish for it, I'm not going to exactly say that's an insane course of action. I think that's what's going on with AliceOfOz being targeted. But until more discussion comes along, I'm not ready to be party to a lynch.
Lets discuss some more, it's an early rollover today. So we have to work a bit more quickly than usual. But I think we actually made a fair bit more progress than it seems at first blush.
EDIT: Didn't see that Alice voted for me before I posted this. I'm not going to say "NO DON'T NOT ME" as much as I'm going to ask what drove you to that vote? I haven't posted up until just after you did, so I'm wondering what you're basing it on.
I tried using
this site to flip her text back and it didn't really work so well. What did you do to flip it for future reference?
