Another Side, Another Mafia game. (Kingdom Hearts UPICK)

I expected a mafia game but instead I witnessed the beginning of a love triangle (?). Reminder to self: Replay TWEWY in addition to KH games if I can find copies of the latter. I believe I'm caught up now, but given how much has happened I'm probably forgetting most of what I've read. It looks like everyone has dropped in to post, though!

I agree with Eleni that a lynch should be OK given the lack of a N0 NK. We'd have something more solid to speculate about and can avoid having the same conversation next day phase.

I don't know how accurate that quiet:active ratio is, but if all three people were known to be quiet and one had to step it up to control the flow of the game they'd probably stand out a lot.

I remember the last time I played a game with a screwed up ratio. That messed me up so bad. Honestly I'll probably just ignore it since it just makes me too paranoid to think clearly. (´−｀) ﾝｰ /imagines oil instead of sweat dripping down Donald's face

I'm inclined to believe the arsonist is neutral. On the one hand, I feel like they'd just say so outright since in my limited experience people generally want them to win? On the other, I suppose it'd be less challenging and therefore less of an achievement.

I'll try to type up a list regarding my opinions on players in a bit, but for now I want to get in my vote and help solidify the lynch. We have about half an hour to go, correct?

I'm gonna agree with Tiki for a moment here and say that I'd much prefer to vote for Rasei. So many things don't add up but...I've noticed that she does this quite often so I'll let it slide. Also the lynch is between Mr. Alice and NL and voting for a third person is useless.

Also don't worry Rasei, I haven't survived any games either since that first RP game. :> And Blaire has survived the Masquerade and she played really well! (And made some really lucky swaps like srsly.) Honestly, while I understand your reasons for defending Blaire, they aren't very convincing. So if she flips mafia you're probably next to lynch.

Well, with about 15 minutes to go, not much point in switching my vote anyway. Sorry, Mr. Blaire, but looks like you're the Mafia patsy again...or just a really unlucky Mafia. Guess it fits that you're so sympathetic, but gotta go, much like poor Demyx. XD

So, I've considered whether or not the arsonist is pseudo-vigilante or some other form of factional kill or additional kill or a neutral win condition. I'll share what I have asked Sammiya (in addition to the things that have already been mentioned):

Q: Is the fire guaranteed to go off the night following the night I was doused in oil?
A: If the arsonist is stunned or impeded on the night they try to set you aflame, or the target cannot be reached, the arsonist cannot set the target on fire.

To set you on fire, the arsonist needs to perform an action to do so. The oil will remain on the target and may be used any/another night.

Q: Can the arsonist prime multiple people with the oil and choose when to light them on fire?

A: Nope, all they may do is hold back the kill. If [the arsonist dies], the oil vanishes.

Q: Will I be notified if the oil is removed from me if the arsonist is killed?

So... The arsonist is committed to the oil until I die. After that, they may choose another target.  The nature of the role and online research suggests a type of vigilante, but it's different than usual. This sounds too powerful to be mafia, but I hate ruling things out so I'm keeping it as a possibility. It seems likely to be neutral or town. I suppose I don't want to out a neutral since that benefits mafia as much as it benefits town, and may thwart their win condition.

UHHH bulletproof I guess? Like mafia can't hit them? That's what it means right? I thought it was a protective thing because it didn't mention all that other stuff.

And it's ok I mean, I didn't want to fade away, but maybe we'll see each other again sometime, right? :')

Hmm, but if it's Town, why do it blindly on N0? wouldn't that risk wasting the power and/or killing an ally?

1) Because Town is always screwed in trouble when Alca is mafia.

What are your thoughts on Tiki/Donald, since you mentioned him as another active player. Why do you suspect Luxaria over Tiki?

2) It's more character related... Can you imagine Donald Duck as a bad guy? I know it's not really that simple.

And, for that matter, what happens if Blaire/Demyx flips mafia? Will you still be suspicious of drandahl then?

I'm not sure. It's still the first day after all.

Is this an "either Luxaria is mafia and drandahl is town, or drandahl is mafia and Luxaria is town" kind of situation, or a "both of them might be mafia" situation, in your mind?

It's more both might be mafia.

While I do like playing with fire, I wouldn't using oil to do it. That would be a cheat. Fire should be made from the soul not through a cheap trick. Plus I believe Lea lost all ability to use fire when he reformed.  

With that being said, the oil role is really strong and I can why people would think its powerful.

My role is friendship based.

I'm tempted to change my vote at this point, but it useless because how I defended my position earlier. By now, one or more mafia has voted Mr. Alice.

I didn't jump on it without hearing the reason why. I gave my own reason why (specifically that I'm working with the belief that both stunner are town, that mafia sent in NK, and that Alca is right about Kiyo.)

Otherwise, I was going to add that she hasn't defended herself yet via claim, though now she's made a bit known. Mr Blalice, can you please give a full claim? At this point it will only hurt town if you don't, and we really are backed into a corner.

Not to mention "hiding someone" is very similar to but not exactly "stunning." We need some clarity fast, please!

@ Mr. Alice: This is confusing, since the evidence I have right now is that the roles are pretty straight-forward, but yours sounds a little flavored by the game by saying "hide them away". Is it a jailer? You should just literally say exactly what it is.

But I guess it doesn't matter at this point since you're doomed to die anyway. :/

@ Tiki: Nah, it makes sense. I mean, sure you might pick a better target if you wait for one night, but I think it makes sense. If you oil a high-priority target (... I think I am? I tend to die around N1 - N2), there's a good chance they might get killed by mafia and you get your oil back. If not, you have a failsafe in case that player turns out to be scum. Additionally, using it on someone like me is advantageous over Kiyoko or Alca, since they are liable to just get N0'd every game, whereas I haven't had that happen. Thus, the action isn't wasted, there's a chance to use it, and an equally high chance to re-use it.
