So I've been gone most of the day. Caught up now. This thread has gotten interesting. Let me throw out my observations.

The way this 5-thread game keeps progressing, the fact that the threads still aren't reabsorbed, and only random votes will count, I'm led to believe at this point that Nautilus was maf. This is very disorienting, hard to plan around, and I can't find a solid town inclination in the entire thing. I'm moving forward  believing this.

I suspected Lulu before but, since then, she has been very transparent about her findings, specced a very healthy amount, and has led some pretty interesting discussion. Tough questions were asked. If she's maf, she's playing it better than she almost always does. I'm leaning town. But mostly I'm just leaning on her.

High seraph has been trying his best from what it looks like, he made a large specpost that Five got very grumpy about and then it got OBLITERATED. I don't even know what it said other than context from others' reactions. I don't think high seraph is maf from this. I don't read him as the kind of person to annihilate his own specpost. He doesn't make a ton. Makes me cautious about Five's reaction.

Tiki is town. He single handily fought off mafia to save us all. Apparently. I trust rollover, I think it's in line with the accepted flow of the game. I'll trust him for now.



As for mafia leaning reads.

Five has been reading weird since the start of the game. Got really, really grumpy at high seraph's post. And then the post was annihilated. That's a little telling. But because it's so telling I'm not sure if I'm buying what post-destroyer is selling.

Plotstickers has been eerily silent.

Dran, I'm not sure about. But he's been less suspicious and more active than others. I'll revisit it later when dimensions are closer together.

Mr Gerbear. I dont know. I don't read much from him at all. He should speak up more to change that fact. The random G B letters in an earlier rollover is still following me.

Rasei has just suddenly stopped all spec, voted more times this game than anyone I have ever seen playing mafia, didn't really end up contributing a lot, and led conversation in a direction it didn't need to go. Seemed like she was intentionally muddying the waters. And as far as I know we don't have anything that says she shouldn't be looked at sternly. If I could vote virtually -anybody- right now. It would be Rasei. But I can't. So I have to Vote: Duck as to not waste a vote when I myself said we need to throw something at a wall and see what sticks, and the threads need to be rejoined.

Most of the people I'm reading as maf are in other threads. But these are some of the bigger ones I'd like to make known before rollover.

I still think we're in a good position.

you might be thinking about lucas recommending an aeiou lynch after he apparently investigated nautilus's corpse and found out that she is unable to take an action of any kind. for my part i believe aeiou is town, or at the very least i'm not inclined to lynch her until later on in the game.

i think we'll probably get our ratio back tomorrow and can check what nautilus's alignment was. if she was maf i'm inclined to believe aeiou is clear town.

& this is a little meta but if it's ok to ask, who was it who introduced you to crywolf? i feel like newbies're more likely to act on their friends n0 so the lux action is a little random unless you were being directed by a maf team. comparatively a town lux is a sensible target for a n0 investigation for maf b/c she's a strong speculator.

α: i find it difficult to read mr alice so okedoke. i feel that rasei has been behaving in line with how she usually behaves as town but i'm not familiar with rasei's maf playstyle so i have nothing to compare it to.

β: what is going on with your vote sobs... i'm still leaning towards a lux vote but i'm fine with anyone as long as it doesn't end up as a random lynch

δ: i understand the entelechy votes, i'm just not super happy about it when he's barely had a chance to play this game and imo seeing his alignment wouldn't be informative. i don't want to move my vote and make a last minute tie possible, so i'll leave it as is unless something comes up

i should point out rasei has not yet been counterclaimed as town stunner.

maybe it's possible that rasei is maf and is the only dedicated stunner in the entire game (that is, all the town stuns are passives), but there's no way for maf to have known that when they had her claim. if she is maf and claimed, it would be incredibly easy for a town dedicated stunner to lead a lynch on her.

edit: to be clear, this isn't just directionless speculation, i think it's highly unlikely she's mafia.

Just finished cleaning up and completely out of steam. I have 1234 new notifications (Yes, actually that exact number), but I am not even going to begin to start to process it until I see if I survive this round.

I am town. Nothing I vote is going to matter, and I don't know enough to be suspicious of any of you. So I will Vote: No Lynch.
