Well after the Lemon Plague of 2013 that still leaves villagers giggling "ha ha lemon stealing whores. burn the lemons down. lmao unACCEPTABBLLLEEEE lolol xDDD" under their breath even though they were missing the ENTIRE CONTEXT of the lemon joke GOD STOP LINKING ME PORTAL REFERENCES IT'S ABOUT A SONG YOU GUYS JUST DON'T UNDERSTAND!!!!, the town was struck by Turnip Fever. I T-the mayor went crazy, everyone had to buy turnips for ten hours at a time every Sunday or they'd get evicted from their homes. Then I had to spend 20 hours selling them to foreign merchants when we realized that turnips are FLIPPING USELESS WHY IS THE TOWN COVERED IN THEM OH GOD I CAN'T WALK ANYWHERE THEY'RE EVERYWHERE. And then we had too much FLIPPING MONEY that it was littering the streets like CANDY AND I STARTED HAVING FEVER DREAMS ABOUT IT AND WOKE UP IN A COLD SWEAT SCREAMING ABOUT CHILDHOOD MOVIES. Not only that, but the villagers wouldn't stop harassing me!! I was famous, I had too much money! Please give me your autograph they cried! I had to get rid of all the money, it was too much for one person, so I devised a plot to rid myself of it!! That was two years ago...
