at this point, while I dislike and generally avoid claiming, I'll be happy to do so once the voting thing gets sorted out. we should probably wait on doing more spec? I guess? I've never seen something like that before :O I can't believe we didn't catch it sooner

Actually, on the topic you ended that post on, that actually was part of my spec list, though no one seemed to notice?

Hmmm.

So I remember in one of the tallies I accidentally kept katagi as ezzelin when she had swapped to Mr. Alice, and I wondered how I missed her vote. So I swapped the ezzelin to Mr. Alice and updated it to reflect the proper tally on the following page.

But apparently I did record the katagi vote on Mr. Alice as a second vote at the bottom of the tally but never noticed it, meaning katagi entered the tally twice. This was not supposed to happen.

Soooo.

Well worst case scenario, the correct tally would've been

Blaire: 6
Ezz: 6

which I think would've come down to a coinflip unless there are other vote manipulation roles I'm not aware of that were acting in that phase.

So it's not gamebreaking in that it's the same end result as if Blaire lost the coin flip.

I feel like whether or not sammie was maf changes the info we get from day 3 by a lot. if Sammie is maf I can see Tiny outing her results (which didn't happen until the second half of day 3? Like why didn't Tiny claim in the first half of D3?) as a diversion from a Sammie lynch.

If Sammie/ezz/Blaire are all town I don't even know what we can get out of that vote tally

drandahl's votes are also pretty sketch. He straight up doesn't vote D2 or D3 part 1 and then drops a vote for ezzelin second half of D3 with his only reasoning being

That's a very interesting reveal. I can't help but wonder what error was significant enough to merit this.

I am actually inclined to vote for drandahl at this point. Flashbacks to meme mafia where he didn't post, pretty much at all, during the second half of the game.

Okay. That was, indeed, a big reveal. And with Ezz on so many lists, I took a moment to reevaluate some things (not to mention taking a moment to make sure our lovely host was okay).

First, I'm not going to look at votes for Ezz (well, except for maybe what Kiyo just brought up), if only because a lot of us voted her. If not for the phase extension, and the subsequent miscount, she'd probably be double dead via lynching. This does throw some things off, though.

Ninfia got the ball because she was consistantly low on everyone's suspicion list. Also I tend to post either really late or really early in the phase because of Timezone shenanigans.

I just finished work and am on my way to my mum and dads for dinner so I'll comment properly once I get home! I'll keep skimming the thread though and answer any questions that come up. FYI I targeted Lucas (no surprises he has the ball) and Rasei in the last two nights but I haven't had time to read hers yet.

Does Lucas's flavor say anything about the ball? Hints as to what it does? I just want to make sure everything lines up with regard to this because he's the only one we've heard from regarding the ball's actual function.

Okay so I am super hesitant to read too much into the role flavour since that was the basis for me pushing for Blaire's Lynch. That said Lucas' flavour mentions a scry and try function and that it allows for testing without being in the room. I guess that might mean Lucas can use the abilities of the person who has the ball? That would explain why he didn't want it given back.

I've read Rasei's flavour text and I just don't understand it at all its all about temperatures and freezing/heating stuff omg

Freezing and heating doesn't sound like what Rasei has claimed, with the PENGUIN suit and all. I don't know what exactly to make of it, though, given the issue with Blaire's flavor. I would expect flavor to be more useful than this, though, given that some of mine is very literal about the effects of my role.
