Angry Dragon Summoner
(I have no idea if this is a good idea or not... holy crap this role is so dumb, haha. I wish I could make it better, but I'm too committed to the ridiculousness of it now. Maybe it could be tweaked to be more fun and clever. Ah, well. I used brackets to note where I wasn't sure what was best.)
The Angry Dragon Summoner has trained all of its life to summon dragons as part of its Sauriomancy course. The trick to summoning a dragon is simple, of course. On Night 0, the summoner must transport a Stone Dragon Egg into the town square. From here, the egg must be empowered to summon a giant and angry dragon. The Angry Dragon Summoner will select a player each night and create a tether between them and the Stone Dragon Egg. Any role abilities used by this player are instead redirected to the Stone Dragon Egg. The Angry Dragon Summoner's tethers are permanent and they may create multiple tethers between the other players to the Stone Dragon Egg.
Once a player with a tether has had their role redirected to the Stone Dragon Egg, a giant, angry dragon will descend upon the thread, furious at the theft of her egg. Ah hah! You have summoned an angry dragon!
The dragon will be roleplayed by the game's host, preferrably in all-caps, threatening all of the town's members to a most unpleasant death by fire. At this point, all players in town except the Angry Dragon Summoner, if they are still alive, must vote to lynch the Angry Dragon before the day ends. At this point, all players will be limited to two vote changes for the rest of that day. If the dragon does not achieve the correct number of votes before phase end, it will burn a random player to a crisp before flying away with the egg, killing them.
If, however, the dragon is vanquished, the phase proceeds as normal with the vote restriction still in play. All players are then awarded randomized loot from their successful raid on the Angry Dragon. The loot is as follows:
((These rewards can be up to you, or if everyone should just receive gold or some such and roll the items into gold prices?))
1. A Steel Sword: A one-use night kill on a target of your choice.
2. A Steel Buckler: A one-use night stun on a target of your choice.
3. A Dragonscale Vest: A one-use deathproof.
4. 50 Gold: The gold can be used to purchase the following items by messaging the moderator...
A) Good Booze for 10 gold: Drink the booze to receive a special effect.
1 - 15% Chance of being able to act twice on the night it is consumed.
2 - 25% Chance of confessing your love to a random other player. If this player dies, you die as well, because nothing hurts more than a broken heart.
3 - 40% Chance of gaining the ability to have your vote count double the next day, because who doesn't love an overly confident person?
4 - 20% Chance to do nothing, but you feel amazing and must end every post in "...hic!" for the following day phase. If you do not, you die of fizzy bubble indigestion or something.
(If you drink more than [two/three] bottles of booze a night, you become intoxicated and lose your ability to vote the following day phase)
B) Hire a Mercenary for 40 gold: The one-use mercenary will chase another player out of town on the following night and only for that night. They will receive and take no actions for that phase.
C) Hire a Priest for 40 gold: The one-use priest will cast a spell of protection on a single player of your choosing, preventing all harmful actions done to that player that night.
D) Hire a Mystic for 50 gold: The one-use mystic will cast a spell allowing one dead player to participate in the thread for a single day [and night phase combined, performing their role as if they were alive. If they were mafia, they cannot send in the night kill.]. This player will be allowed to vote. Their role will not be revealed to the thread.
Lastly, if the dragon is vanquished, the Angry Dragon Summoner's Stone Dragon Egg will hatch, presenting them with an Adorably Cute Stone Dragon Whelp, Awww, It's So Cute.
The Adorably Cute Stone Dragon Whelp, Awww, It's So Cute will answer to the Angry Dragon Summoner every night. The whelp may be sent out to perform one of the following activities:
1. Track a player's actions for that night.
2. Protect a player from one kill for that night.
3. Investigate a player.
4. Kill one player with fire.
5. Inspire fear in another player with their sharp claws, causing the player's abilities that night to be used on a [random/targeted] player instead.
The Whelp is still young, however, and it tires easily and cannot perform the same action more than once. The Whelp also has a curfew, so it may not perform more than one action per night. Except on the weekend, at which point it may perform two actions per night. If it does this, it will become fatigued and cannot perform any actions the following night. If the summoner is targeted for a kill, the whelp will sacrifice itself instead, leaving the summoner very upset and morose, at which point they must end every post in ";_;" or ": (" or express great sorrow for the rest of the game. If the moderator decides the summoner is taking the whelp's death too lightly, the moderator may elect to kill the summoner.
