Re: Traps
If I'm reading correctly, you suggest that there might be a trap in play from both N0 and N1? If that's the case, we don't need to worry about the N0 one anymore.
THE RUURS wrote:Certain roles may be able to remove traps. Additionally, traps will malfunction and break down if they are not activated after 2 consecutive nights.
So if the trap was placed on N0, now that we've survived N1 and N2... the most there could be is one trap from N1. That trap should expire after this coming night phase, assuming no one triggers it.
Re: Pushing Mr. Alice
Ah, speaking for myself, I actually wasn't quite sure what I thought about the situation, but my comment of "It's probably better than being dead." was because we were trying to work with Mr. Alice at the time and get her to communicate, and she wasn't receptive or responsive. I just thought, "Jeeze, you're given an option to prove your information and you'd rather die instead?"
Also, as Alcasync later pointed out, man... if only we got the Detective copy.
Re: Big Talkers
This is something that has been bothering me. Silencing Mr. Alice and then other shenanigans (especially if Chinomi flips mafia) makes me believe that there has to be some ringleader for their group, and it wouldn't be wise for them to be so quiet.
I'm willing to trust Kotakia for now just because her information has been... interesting. We really have no way of proving the role information just yet (if there's a watcher that can disarm traps, that'd more-or-less confirm her story?). But, I'm inclined to trust her considering providing information on neighboring rooms... I mean, the amount of information she provides has been huge for our speculation. I can't see her role necessarily being mafia? But if she were to be mafia and making it up (like, mafia roommates on either side of her), then that might be a possibility. Still, for now she's been useful.
T3tsuya is interesting for me. If someone presented a good case, I'd back it. He's not off my scum list yet, but he's not fully on it. I'm willing to work with him if he can help town. I do think he's been a little stubborn on some elements, but he's provided reasonable explanation. Given my first experience with him, I wouldn't be surprised if he's been orchestrating all of this. If Mr. Alice and Chinomi both flip town, I'd suspect him a little bit.
Alcasync is another one I worry about, because I do this every game. She has amazing reads and pushes things in the right direction. But I always hesitate at the start of the game because you never know if this will be the one where she's actually scum and taking the lead. I haven't had reason to view her unfavorably.
For myself? I'm keeping this vague because I'm not sure I feel comfortable broadcasting my role just yet. Otherwise, I hope my speculation and actions have built the case for me being town.
Re: Eleni
I don't have a strong opinion on her yet either way. I've been a little focused on Chinomi. I will get back to you once this phase ends, I believe.
@ High Seraph
Here is why we've brought up mods changing the posts. Just look for any of my posts and you'll see why it's a discussion piece. That said, that game was a bastard mod game and not meant to be taken seriously, so it got extreme. Kiyoko edited all of my posts when certain conditions were met.
I've outlined in my previous post why I find issue with how Chinomi has described her role. It's not so much the mod changing aspect of it as it is the way the entire thing is phrased and how she doesn't seem to have a solid idea of what the main part of her role actually looks like. Isn't that weird?
That'd be like if you were a detective, and the host sends back "The result of your investigation was ." without anything else, and you're just like, oh okay, darn. Like, if her role is meant to get information by messing up posts, why does she not know what these posts are supposed to look like? She said "idk I think it's like this". What?
I'll update the info dump.
