First thing's first while I compose a post. I have a lot of thoughts. Here are some questions to various people.

@ Our lovely host <3

T3tsuya wrote:My Room Number was 23. Period. Until tonight I've been in Room 23 for three nights. Twice a game I can change my target and when I do, I cannot move for that night. I did that N2.

Nautilus can specifically back up that if a role has an ability that says "You cannot move when you activate this ability" it does not move you even if you hit your two night limit. This is a game clarification and I'm sure she'll attest to how truthful it is if asked.

Nautilus, verdict? Can a role have an ability that causes them to stay in the same room indefinitely, regardless of the 2-night rule?

@ Rasei

Hmm.

So, tell me more.

You're listed as having been in room 26 for three nights. Unlike T3tsuya, you have not addressed this inconsistency with the game rules. Nautilus' answer might shine light on your role, but that does not say why you would stay there; with T3tsuya, it's mostly obvious why he wouldn't move, if what he says is accurate.

What about you? Why did you not get automatically moved? How does your bulletproof work, also? How does the player receiving the will use it? They get told they may write a will and submit it to Nautilus?

How many wills may you give out?

@ Room movements

I have something interesting I'm working on. I will post it in a little bit, including reads and who I am likely to vote on.

Lastly. This may sound funny, but using our vigilante tonight might not be a bad idea. Given mafia's track record at failing to land NKs (which is... very interesting to me, honestly), there's a chance another room might be destroyed tonight (edit: Kotakia wasn't entirely sure if it happens the night of or the night after, though I think she favored the latter. Maybe holding the shot in this case would give us information on how that works?). In theory, the vigilante shot might prevent a room from being destroyed--and there's a greater chance of the destruction hitting town. Vigilante shot might prevent that, plus we could use it to test someone we're doubting.

Basically, are we okay with a potential room destruction and want to hold the shot? Or would it be good to use now?

I can't actually comment on the existence or non-existence of roles in the game. I'm a host.

But I can answer whether or not hypothetical roles that may or may not exist that restrict room movements count towards the mandatory move rule, and I mentioned that alll the way over here on Page 5:

If your room movement goes through and you attempt to move to a room that's full it will count towards the rule.

If, at any point, your room movement is forcibly impeded (whether it be a role or otherwise) that prevents your room movement from starting in the first place, it will not count towards the rule.

@Luxaria Rasei spent three nights in the same room because, and they quoted nautilus on this, being locked up by alca doesn't count to the total of nights u are allowed to spend in one room. Tbh T3t's explanation for being in the same room for 3 phases makes a lot less sense but since it has to do with his roleclaim, its impossible to be totally sure

Also I am all for the Town vig shooting AliceofOz after we lynch eleni. Yes despite my initial suspicion on Rasei, I'm backpedaling and I buy her story, specially since she can prove it to us by sending the will to Ardonye or alca, the two most town-looking players in this game.

Also Rasei it'd probably be best if you don't publicly announce Who youre sending the will to because if mafia has a Vig (unlikely?) they could shoot whoever you say youre gonna send the will to lmao

Ugh, I just went back to check my documents of mechanics, and apparently it was in there. Sorry. ;_; Trying to keep track of all of this between personal notes, thoughts, and info dump.... ffff.

Thank you for that reminder, both of you.

Hmmm. That does make Rasei's claim believable, though I still want her to answer my questions. Also, we can test what she's saying by giving her a list of 2-3 confirmed town / least suspicious players to send it to, so she can't be thwarted as easily. It's an easy way to check her claim.

For AliceofOz, I will think on this. This is a bit of a metagame read, but I mean she's my waifu and I spend my life most of my day with her, and she's been pretty busy lately so it makes me wonder if she even could've gotten a NK action in before I did. I do know she was present near rollover, as was eleni, another suspect.

Um. I keep wondering if it might've been possible for a mafia to just have an automatic sort of attack that goes off, but that might not make sense? But, like, I mentioned it before, but I find it really, really bizarre that every night save one we've seen "An attempted kill failed!" With only 3-4 room pairings each night, plus one jailed room (which we didn't even have last night), and nearly as many empty rooms as occupied rooms... I mean, what are the odds that mafia somehow have failed every single non-whatever-killed-Kiyoko kill? That's so bizarre to me.

That said, last night was the first night that we saw a trap dismantled, which means we know that one was placed N1, and thus confirms that one was not placed N0 (unless that was what killed Kiyoko? Like, she walked into a room with... a ritual in it that summoned something, and that was the trap?). But the absence of other traps showing up is a hole in my theory because otherwise, I'd almost wonder if there's some passive effect that tries to kill someone in the night (which has also somehow failed? or it's just an automatic message?), and the actual NK has been on empty rooms almost every time... because I'm having a lot of trouble believing mafia somehow hit a paired or jailed room 3/4 nights. Maybe they really are just that unlucky, though.

The main reason I'm going through this line of inquiry is because I guess my pride demands that I find reason as to how I could be beaten at rollover. I informed Nautilus 1hr 30m before rollover that if chinomi flipped mafia, I would be sending in my role so she could prepare a second rollover text if necessary. I also typed up my message and had it ready to send, hammered F5 on the thread the entire minute leading up to rollover, and the second I saw it I hit send less than 5 seconds later. I wish I could see seconds on a sent PM. Maybe I lost a second to a mafia since I was making sure chinomi flipped mafia, so I guess that'd explain it. But if someone did beat me, that really, really has me curious as to who sent in the NK, and it points me more in the direction of eleni or another vet since she'd be more likely to have experience with getting actions in quickly. I guess we can't preclude the thought that the veteran mafia on the team would tell the one sending it in to do it ASAP at rollover, even if the one sending it in was less experienced.

Tl;dr: My pride has been wounded.

At any rate, most of that isn't... necessarily anything that needs to be addressed by anyone in a serious capacity. One of the role's Kotakia revealed does line up with how Kiyoko died, and--

@ Nautilus

Do traps destroy rooms?

I don't think that they do, but I guess this is the best way to test what I'm wondering. If the answer is no, I'd find it highly unlikely that mafia would have:

1) The vigilante role Kotakia described (unless it's on neutral, but I'm leaning 70 to 80% chance of it being mafia, and it really does sound like that was what hit Kiyoko)
2) Normal NK traps
3) Ways to make room destroying NK traps (unless these have permanent duration? But we've been in almost every room, haven't... we.... hm...... I will return to this when I post the aforementioned speculation/reads post I'm working on.

I guess it might not be impossible for mafia to have all of that, but... still.

Oh, hey.

@ plotstickers:

Have you sent anyone else messages? Has anyone else received a message from plotstickers? I can't imagine you chose to only send one to chinomi at this point.

Also, can you reveal why you doubt that she targeted room 8 on N0? I mean she was a lying mafia scum and (most likely) had no interaction with room 8, but you clearly had reasons/information to think ill of her claim.

@ Rasei:

Mmhm, I realize that now. Can you answer the other questions? I just want to understand how it works, but I think I am not inclined to suspect you for now, especially since we can wait until D5 to verify if you sent someone a will. Your role sounds fairly pro-town to me, but I'll let people with more games under their belt weigh in on that.

It'd presumably be a situation like what we're describing to Rasei: Give you 2-3 scummy targets and you TRUST YOUR HEART.

But I'm mostly just throwing it out there as an idea so we can explore all avenues. I want to hear what others think of it. We could also let the vigilante role sit dormant and see if we dodge another NK, and thus if the room destruction role Kotakia described triggers due to a lack of kills.

Just for the record, Blaire, your Hunter role targets one player directly and won't kill anyone else in a room with them, right? And it won't be prevented if your target is in a room with another player, right?

How many wills may you give out?

I'm skipping the questions about movement since it's been address.

My bulletproof is once per a game, I can survive either a lynch or killing attack.

Player gets the will via Nautilus's pm. They are told they can write 100 characters, then send it to Nautilus. When rollover happens, the will will be posted by the player's death.

I only get one will, and can only send it out during the day.

Oooh, that's very good, then. In theory you could just send it to someone during this phase. I'm guessing Ardonye is the most obvious choice, or Alcasync. There's a few others I'm hedging my bets on being town that might be acceptable, but those two are probably safest?

I say we let these individuals (and others!) decide which player should receive it.

@ T3tsuya: What do you think of Rasei's claims? Since you seemed to doubt her more than most, iirc.

My shooting suggestions: AliceofOz, plotstickers and deo.

I'm going to believe Rasei is telling the truth until she is contradicted. T3tsuya seems the least scummy to me out of my list - the scummiest thing they said that I can recall is say that "Rasei bouncing off of room#23" supports their room claims when Rasei was actually locked. This commebt through me off and made me go wild with a theory that didnt work at all lmao but outside of that T3t doesnt look very maffy

No one else has ever claimed receiving a letter from plot and tbh she hasnt answered out questions like the thing about room 8 or whatever. AliceofOz is under fire from Rasei. And deo is the only other person remaining from my suspects list - he is tied with T3tsuya for least suspicious among the most suspicious tbh.

ALSO I'd really like it if more people voted omg

@Luxaria, in past games mafia have actually been able to send actions for other members. Also I don't think being experienced at mafia has anything to do with sending actions quickly. After all, I have more experience than you and you sent your action before mine. ;v;
